We are posting this story on behalf of Mrs R and Her dog Bobbie

Mrs R is 89 years old she was given Bobbie by her late sister to keep her company and to look after her during these troublesome times 7 years ago. Mrs R has never taken Bobbie for a walk in a park. She lets him loose in the back garden which is very small and confined. Mrs R saw our advert in the Bournemouth Echo Newspaper and called us to see if we could collect Bobbie so he could use the park and enjoy it himself. We went one step further when we heard her story. We went to collect both Mrs R and Bobbie and brought them both to THE DOG PARK. The weather conditions were terrible but this did not stop this lady and her dog coming to the park. Mrs R broke down crying for joy as Bobbie went completely wild running jumping climbing on some of the adventure play area. After a cup of tea and a cold water for Bobbie they relaxed in our shelter and took in the quiet surroundings. Her face told us a story which I will never forget. Mrs R could not thank us enough. She thought that she would never see her Bobbie be so happy and do the things he did.

Mrs R has now booked up her special day with Bobbie every week for the foreseeable future. This moment was worth all the stress, hard work which has gone into the dog park in the last year. Mrs R and Bobbie are one of the reasons for making this park. I only hope other people with different circumstances can benefit from this park. Amazing place that have thought of everything, really well laid out. Only thing could have needed was warm water to wash paws at end of a muddy session! A fantastic hour enjoyed by Jasper, who was not put off by the drizzle at all. Will definitely be returning. 27/10/2020

WOW. This place is amazing. I loved the concept of being able to let my puppy off the lead and be completely relaxed that she is safe. So well thought out, really friendly staff, everything you could ask for. Molly had an amazing time. so much to do, toys and snacks provided for her. cant wait to come back again with some friends. brilliant place! lovely to see her running free, playing and just getting easy exercise. such good value for money! can’t recommend it enough! car park and toilet there and picnic benches. fab fab fab 25/10/2020

Best new secure dog park in the area! this is the only place that thinks of the dog, so many different things for them to enjoy and explore; not just an enclosed field! We enjoyed ourselves regardless of the weather with an added bonus of a nice sheltered seating area. This place has all you need to enjoy some quality time out with your dog in a nice secure area. Absolutely loved coming here this morning despite the terrible weather the dogs and we had a brilliant time, Tommy was there to show us everything and have a chat about it all, Billy had a go at the equipment … ty wasn’t fussed but I’m sure they will ace it all in time … Will definitely be coming back … all the time!!! cannot recommend enough!! x 24/10/2020
